Y. David Chung - Public Space

2008 - Korean Bell Garden at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens, Vienna, VA

Collaborating with architects Julian Hunt and Lucrecia Laudi, David Chung is the director of design for this innovative project to create a Korean garden in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The centerpiece is a Korean bell pavilion (or jong gak). This public community project has been commissioned by the Korean American Cultural Committee (Ms. Yi Jung-wha, chairperson) and the Northern Virginia Regional Parks Authority.
